Membership Payment Policy

Membership Payment Policy

As a community-focused rowing club, The Wendouree Ballarat Rowing Club strives to provide all members with access to facilities, equipment, and opportunities to row. While we work hard to keep fees as low as possible, we rely on each member to contribute to the club's sustainability, helping cover essential costs such as insurance, equipment maintenance, and registrations.

To ensure the smooth operation of the club and fairness to all members, the following membership payment policy applies:

1. Membership Payments

Membership fees must be paid in full or via the timeframe specified upon joining or renewing membership.

2. Late Payments

If membership payments are more than 45 days in arrears, the following restrictions will apply:

  • The club will no longer enter the member into regattas.
  • Access to the club's boatshed and equipment will be restricted until the arrears are resolved.

3. Renewal of Membership

To renew an annual membership, the member must have no outstanding fees or charges from the previous year. Full payment of arrears is required before renewal can be processed.

4. Financial Hardship

We understand that circumstances can change, and financial hardship may arise. If you are experiencing difficulties in meeting your membership payments, we encourage you to reach out to the Club President or a Committee Member to discuss your situation confidentially. The club will work with you to develop a manageable payment plan, ensuring you can continue to participate in rowing while meeting your financial obligations.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy. Timely payment of fees allows the club to provide a high-quality rowing experience for all members and ensures the long-term sustainability of our community.
