In response to increased participation levels of privatly owned rowing boats, the WBRC Committee is endeavouring to ensure fair and equitable access to the club’s facilities. If you wish to store a privatly owned rowing boat at the Wendouree-Ballarat Rowing Club you must first apply for boat storage to the rowing committee, this can be done by speaking with the club captain. If permission is granted you are required to agree to the following conditions:
Private Boat Storage Location
The Club Captain in consultation with the Rowing Committee has final say on where private boats are stored.
Should your boat need to be moved at any stage, the Club Captain will make all efforts to contact you and discuss in advance.
Eligibility
Boat storage is accessible to members who hold a current full competitive membership which covers one seat of boat storage, additional seats can be purchased at a cost of $100 per seat per season.
Boat Storage options:
Rack A - Roof slung storage
For privately owned & permanently rigged, high usage boats used to represent WBRC.
Rack B - Small scull trolley in south bay
For privately owned & permanently rigged non quick release, regular usage boats.
Rack C - Small scull trolley in north bay
For privately owned & quick release rigger, regular usage boats.
Rack D - Large scull trolley in south bay
For club singles and private boats not in regular use, all boats must be derigged.
